Crayon - Does work but may be difficult for the intricate design, does not smear and shouldnt need a sealer. Fine tip marker - Does work but may be difficult to get through the entire design without smearing before sealing, we also would recommend something like Krylon Matte Finish art sealer (not included). ***Note that there are no colored pencils, markers, or crayons included with this item.
